Great project! I was searching for some information about plugin development, and this is the best blog on the subject and the FireBreath project is a great idea to make cross-platform development much easier. Perhaps plugins are becoming less important with html5 and appliances like iphone, but they continue to serve an important purpose for the near future.

Note that there is now another, more streamlined way to get a project started with Firebreath.

With a working installation of Python and Cheetah, all you need to do is run one command, enter some basic information about your plugin, and a working project will be created all ready to compile and be built upon.

Full details and a walk-through are on the project wiki at http://code.google.com/p/firebreath/wiki/Creati...
